"In Its Horizon" by Spyder

I wouldnt start

a fire if i could -

even try to push it hard,

this lighter wouldnt spark.

The universe is tired

but the black shimmered skyward

no sleep for the crooked man if

something wicked took the dark.

Why would something so lovely

be so ugly

be so cruel?

why should nothing show something

we know nothing?

yeah

the blood begins to pool.

A STAR COLORED HER

LIKE OUTLINES OF THE SUNLESS CURVE

SHE ALWAYS CALLED THE HORIZON

I WISH I WERE HER

TEACH ME

TO FERMENT

I WISH I COULD LEARN

I NEVER FUCKING LEARN

I JUST LIE HERE WATCHING HER

WATCHING THE WORLD BURN

I PULL THE STARS

FROM EVERYONE;

WE ARE EVERYTHING WE ARE

AND WILL BECOME.

TIME WOULD DEPART

FROM PENDULUMS;

RESTART EVERYTHING WE ARENT,

JUST ENDING US

SHE ISNT ANYTHING TO ME,

AND NEVER WAS

SHE ISNT ANYTHING YOU NEED,

AND NEVER WAS

WE SLIP IN SPECIAL DREAMS TO SLEEP

HER CHEST LOSES ITS COLOR

SHE KISSES ANYTHING FOOLISH.

ANYTHING YOU KISS

WEARS A DEVIL TONGUE

MERRILY STUPID

SPARE US FROM

EVERYONE.

YOU KNOW I NEED YOUR DARKNESS

YOU KNOW I WEEP FOR OUR HEADS HAIRLESS CURE

DEAR SUNNY GREEN EYES,

IN HERE; NOTHING BUT THE DREAM DIES

WHO KNOWS WHY WE MOURN A CARCASS?

WHO KNOWS WHY SHE WORE DARKNESS WHERE LIPS WERE.

CLEAR HONEY SWEET SKIES

APPEAR; LOVELY SUN, YEAH, SCREAMS LIGHT,

Two ghosts light, each,

a cigarette

with the heat of this burning,

and vaunt,

panoptic combusting annulus

two bones lie, bleached,

underdressed,

indiscreet, and deserving

of god-

as toxins constructed canorous

song.
